Values

Customer Obsession

We obsess about our customers and make sure they are successful. Our window manufacturing equipment and solutions must improve our customers’ businesses, or we fail. We are fanatical about solving their problems and always advocate for them as if they were part of our team. We identify what they need and work backwards from there to find solutions.

More Than Fair

We treat our team, our customers, our suppliers and our community like family, all of the time. This means treating them with respect, dignity and honesty while also giving them the benefit of the doubt. We prioritize long term relationships over short term gains and never want to conduct business in a manner we would not be proud to talk about in public. We believe doing what is right, for long enough, will always lead to success.

Ownership Mentality

Everyone at JMC is empowered to think like an owner. Approval is not required to do the right thing for our customers, our business or our people. “It’s not my job” is something our team never says. We question the status quo and think in generations, not quarters. Pride of ownership should be reflected in everything we do.

Common Sense

We solve complicated engineering challenges by using the simplest approaches possible.  We resist bureaucracy and use only as much process and people necessary to get a desired outcome.  We always ‘go to the source’ when solving problems and do not ever accept ‘we have always done it that way’ as proof that something is right.

One Team

At JMC, success is a function of ‘we’ not ‘me.’ We create value by working together as a team and being humble enough to always let the best ideas win, acknowledge our mistakes and put aside individual egos to advance the greater good. As an organization, we want to be humble, likable and desirable to work with.
